Stepping into her role as Director at Essential AV, Emma brings a rare blend of meticulous project coordination and frontline production expertise. With a background spanning live immersive events, television (including Apple TV’s Suspicion), and cutting-edge motion capture production, Emma understands live and recorded environments from every angle, both in front of the lens and behind the scenes.
Having worked as a project manager and performer across high-profile theatre, screen, and live event spaces in London, she knows firsthand how precision lighting, crystal-clear sound, and thoughtful spatial design transform an event into an unforgettable audience experience. As Director, Emma combines sharp logistical management with a creative eye for atmosphere, ensuring Essential AV continues to deliver seamless, sustainable, high-impact production for every client.
Sam Thompson - Managing Director
Sam started his career in music touring and has toured the world with bands on arena tours and the festival circuit. Working with well-respected lighting designers he has learnt from the best and now works with the best at Essential AV.
